Job Overview:
As a Placement Specialist Intern, you will play a supportive role in guiding candidates through the placement process, assisting them in securing life-changing career opportunities in luxury hospitality. You’ll work closely with candidates and clients, helping candidates match with ideal placements, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth placement processes. This role will provide valuable experience in candidate relations, event coordination, and industry research within a globally recognized recruitment agency. Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 0-3 months of experience in recruitment, placement coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in other languages is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn CRM systems.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage dynamic work environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Admin Support
- Assist the Placement Specialist in assisting candidates in identifying their career goals and provide basic advice on resume writing, interview preparation, and industry insights. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling meetings, and managing documentation to support the placement team.
- Database Maintenance
- Guide candidates in completing registration on our portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Interview Scheduling
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and employers, providing candidates with necessary details to ensure preparation.
- Application Tracking
- Monitor candidate applications, follow up on their status, and ensure completion of all necessary documentation.
- Research new Opportunities
- Conduct research to identify new schools and stay informed about industry trends.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in preparing reports on placement activities, outcomes, and candidate progress, while maintaining accurate records of interactions.
- Career Fairs and Events
- Support the organization and execution of career fairs, workshops, and other placement-related events, ensuring clear communication and logistical coordination.
- Candidate Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries, and providing regular updates on new opportunities and application statuses.
